This is my first Wiki. Created to give me a place to lay out my thoughts and ideas on religion in general; with specific information and speculative considerations, and to seek input from you, the general public. Please use references where appropriate, and provide background information to support your thoughts and ideas.
Keep in mind, until these pages evolve, they will more closely resemble random thoughts (since that's where I'm drawing from for the basic outline) than a coherent database. THAT IS OK. My work on this loose topic started as thoughts and discussions with various people, moved to note-taking and “stream of consciousness” writing, briefly appeared on a program called “TreePad”, and finally settled here on this Wiki. I think this is the right medium for these thoughts to flesh out into something more than a few basic ideas.
I have the basics of an idea to replace religion as it is known. It is an idea that will never take hold, so long as the people of the world insist on blind faith in the writings of dead people. It will be, however, a viable solution that will address each of the concerns that are brought up on these pages. I have no delusions of grandeur. No angels have come and sat on my shoulder to whisper tales of some mysterious history that no one can verify. No aliens have “made themselves known” to my higher or sub-consciousness. My cat does not really talk to me (except in the way all pets do with their human servants, by scratching, rubbing, or crapping in the wrong place). I have not even heard voices in a burning bush.
I'm just one guy with an idea; a whole string of ideas, in fact. Now watch as I piece them all together.

Anyone can read these entries, but if you'd like to contribute/edit, you will need to register. It's simple and fast. A valid email address is required (passwords are auto-generated and emailed to the address you provide). If open registration turns this into a mess, I will convert to selecting authors/editors from the registered users.
